Crawley office market on the move?

News that global telecom service provider BroadSoft has signed for space in the empty, speculatively developed St John’s House in Crawley is further eveidence of a significant recovery in the town’s office market.

Broadsoft have signed for just over 10,000 sq ft in the building at the top of the High Street, built over two years ago but so far unlet. Broadsoft are reported to have agreed a 10 year deal at around £24.50 per sq ft.

This follows the recent moves into The Pinnacle by healthcare firms Theradex and Niagara, and the development of the 110,000 sq ft Leonardo building by Abstract Securities.

The available Grade A space is now dwindling, while the attraction of the area continues to rise. It would be no surprise to see further speculative office developments materialise.
